High School Students

  • High school students are welcome to attend the Saturday sessions of the MICATA annual conference. It’s a great way for them to learn more about the language services industry and careers in translation and interpreting.
  • High school students must be accompanied by a teacher. All members of the group must register by paying the high school student/teacher registration rate of $30 per person.
  • For more information about high school student attendance, please email MICATA Treasurer Jason Jolley at jasjol71@gmail.com.

Conference Refund and Guest Policy

If you are unable to attend the conference and wish to receive a refund, you must let us know in writing at least 14 days prior to the conference start date by emailing MICATA Treasurer Jason Jolley at jasjol71@gmail.com. Please note that all cancellations are subject to a $25.00 processing fee. No refunds will be issued on cancellations received after the specified date, even in the event of program changes or session cancellations, and no refunds will be granted for no-shows or partial attendance.

All refunds of registration fees will be processed within 30 days of the last day of the conference.

Everyone attending the conference must pay the registration fee and show proof of registration by wearing the registration badge when attending all conference events. If you have friends or family members accompanying you, please note that they too will be required to register and pay the registration fee if they are attending conference sessions.
